Max and Moon are at a fruit market standing in front of two apple stands. The apples at one stand is 0.99 cents and the other stand is $1. Max goes for the more expensive apples but Moon goes for the cheaper ones. Moon tells Max, “a penny saved is a penny earned,” which means saving money is just as useful as earning it.
