Art and writing offer families opportunities to celebrate traditions and honour those who have made a difference. Stories about those who have come before us help young adults develop respect for their heritage. In this activity, children aged 8-11 will create a sculpture and write an accompanying tribute plaque to celebrate someone in their family or community.
