Constructing and Interpreting Line Plots

Constructing and Interpreting Line Plots

In this lesson, students learn how to construct and interpret a line plot by comparing it to other graphs. They start by understanding the components of a line plot, such as the number line, title, and X axis. They then collect data on the number of siblings each student has and plot it on the line plot. Through this visual representation, students can easily analyze and interpret the data, identifying the frequency of each number of siblings.
