Today, I wanted to share a simple machine craft that you can make with your kids. It looks complicated, but this cat and dog spinner is straightforward to put together. Let’s get started!⠀ MATERIALS:⠀ - 2 CDs/DVDs⠀ - Coloured paper ⠀ - 2 plastic bottle caps⠀ - A wooden skewer⠀ - Cardboard⠀ - 2 Washers⠀ - Hot glue⠀ - Small scissors⠀ INSTRUCTIONS:⠀ (1) Glue the paper to the CDs. ⠀ (2) Carefully pierce a small hole into your bottle caps, and place them in the centre of the paper - in line with the CD hole, flat side down. ⠀ (3) Break off the pointy ends of the skewer, and thread it through one of the CD holes, and bottle cap.⠀ (4) Apply glue to the inner bottle cap where the skewer pokes out, and glue the flat side to the paper. ⠀ (5) Add on cardboard strips, and secure the other CD.⠀ (6) Add washers to the small side of the cardboard, and the animals to the top.
