In this lesson, students will learn how to rewrite a trinomial by factoring using grouping. They will review the concept of multiplying linear expressions to get a quadratic expression, and then learn how to factor out the greatest common factor from pairs of terms. The lesson also covers factoring when the leading coefficient is not one.
