Tips for Parents

  • 4 activities you can do with your child now

    - Ask your child to identify the different body parts mentioned in the video, such as muscles and bones. - Play a game of Simon Says using body movements mentioned in the video, such as bending your knees or touching your toes. - Encourage your child to try new physical activities and movements, such as dancing or playing a sport, and explain how their body is able to move in those ways.

  • Pretend play with your child

GAME: "Move It!" - Play a game with your child where you take turns choosing a body part and demonstrating a movement. For example, you can say "elbow" and then show how you can bend and straighten it. Your child then tries to copy your movement and adds their own body part and movement for you to copy. Play until you've covered all body parts or until you run out of ideas!
