How to Craft a Crocodile Toy

Do you know the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? The easiest difference to spot is their snouts! Crocodiles have V-shaped snouts and interlocking teeth. When crocodiles close their mouth, you can see both upper and lower teeth. Alligators, on the other side, have U-shaped snouts, and they show only upper teeth when their mouth is closed. MATERIALS:⠀ - Paper cups - Coloured paper - Scissors - Glue INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Cut 4 horizontal cuts into the side of a paper cup. Then, cut the bottom out. Carefully cut the strip second from the bottom and the one closes to the top rim in half. Push these tabs out, and crease them towards the ends to make legs. (2) Cut out two spikes pieces of paper and a long trapezoid shape. Make it pointy to rounded to decide if you’re going to make a crocodile or an alligator! Glue the spikes shapes onto the long sides of the trapezoid. Push your slides up to make teeth. Do this again, so you have a top and bottom set. (3) Glue these to the inside of the bottom of the cup to make your mouth. (4) Cut out and glue on a tongue that comes out the back of the cup. Cut out a strip and attach to the roof of the mouth, and have it also come all the way out the back. Attach these pieces together. (5) Cut out eyes, spine pieces, and a tail cover, and glue these on. (6) Pull the tail and watch him bite!
