We are using again our favourite ingredients - Baking Soda and Vinegar - for a fun and easy science experiment for kids.! This fun and safe "bomb" will explode with a loud pop! Here is what you need and how this fun and easy experiment works. You will need: water a measuring cup a plastic zip lock bag a paper towel 2 tablespoons of baking soda vinegar Step 1: Find a place where making a mess won't be terrible - outside, or maybe in the bathtub if the weather's bad. Step 2: Test your bag for leaks. Put water in it, close the seal, and turn it upside down. If no water leaks out, it's OK to use. Step 3: Tear a piece of paper towel, about 15 cm square. Put 2 tablespoons of baking soda in the centre of the square and fold the paper around it. Step 4: Mix 300ml of vinegar with 150ml of warm water, then pour them into the plastic bag. Step 5: Put the paper towel package into the bag. Hold it in the corner away from the vinegar while you seal the bag. Step 6: Place the bag on the floor - and stand back! The bag will swell up.... Step 7: .....and then pop!
