Here's how to talk to your child about it
You learned about pterodactyls, flying reptiles that are not dinosaurs because they can fly. They come from eggs, grow up to be strong, and have different types with long wings. They have collar bones, crests on their heads, and sharp teeth. They fly high in the sky.

- Ask your child to draw a picture of a pterodactyl and talk about its features. - Take your child outside and look up at the sky, pointing out birds and discussing how they fly. - Create a flying pterodactyl craft using paper, glue, and colorful feathers. - Read a book about dinosaurs and discuss the differences between dinosaurs and pterodactyls.
