Here's how to talk to your child about it
After watching this video, you learned about prefixes and suffixes. Prefixes are added to the beginning of a word, and suffixes are added to the end of a word to change its meaning.

Some activities you can do with your child now
1. - Sing along with your child and ask them to identify the prefixes and suffixes in the song. 2. - Create a word hunt activity by giving your child a list of words and asking them to find the prefixes and suffixes in each word. 3. - Play a matching game where you write down prefixes and suffixes on separate cards and ask your child to match them to the corresponding base words. 4. - Encourage your child to create their own silly words by adding prefixes and suffixes to base words, and have fun coming up with their meanings.
