Science Experiment: Christmas Slime

Science Experiment: Christmas Slime

If you mix cornstarch and water, you will get a suspension that acts like a solid when you put pressure on it, but then it can flow like a liquid. It feels like the snow that melts away so quickly. This is perfect for messy play at any age. Let's add some food colouring and biodegradable glitter to make this melting snow extra magical! MATERIALS: - 2 small cups of cornstarch - 1 small cup of water - Food colouring of your choice - Biodegradable glitter - Tray INSTRUCTIONS: Mix all the ingredients into a tray together. Try making a snowball by squeezing this slime hard and then let it go to see how it turns to liquid.
