Tips for Parents

  • Here's how to talk to your child about it

"You learned how to find and name colors of things around you! Look for things that are the same color and say what color they are. Fun!"

  • 4 activities you can do with your child now

    - Ask your child to point out objects of a certain color around the house, like a red apple or a blue toy. - Play a game of "I spy" with colors, where you take turns finding an object of a certain color and saying "I spy with my little eye something that is (color)." - Have your child draw pictures of objects they saw in the video and color them with the correct colors. - Make a collage of objects of different colors with your child using materials like construction paper or magazines.

  • Pretend play with your child

Game Name: Color Hunt Instructions: Take your child on a color hunt around the house or outside. Choose a color and see how many objects you can find of that color. For example, if you choose red, you might find a red apple, a red car, and a red shirt. Repeat with different colors. This game helps develop color recognition skills and observation skills.

  • 1 moral thought for your child inspired by this

"Colors are all around us. Let's explore and find them together. Remember, it's important to pay attention to the details and observe the world around us."
