Closure refers to the property of a set of numbers and operations where performing those operations on any two elements of the set always results in another element of the set. We examine various sets of numbers, such as whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and polynomials, to determine if they are closed under addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
