
The moon is Earth's only natural satellite, the fifth largest in our solar system, and appears bright in our night sky due to sunlight reflection. Despite its significant appearance, the moon is much smaller than Earth, being only about 27% its size. Additionally, it rotates on its axis in the same amount of time it orbits Earth, leading to the same side always facing us. Interestingly, recent research suggests the moon's shape is more akin to a lemon with a central bulge, rather than a perfect sphere. All About the Moon part 1
