Here's how to talk to your child about it
Hey, your child! Quantum Computing is like a super fast magical computer that can solve very hard problems much faster than a regular computer.
-
Some activities you can do with your child now
- Ask your child to draw a picture of a quantum computer with colorful buttons and lights, just like the one Mama used. - Help your child build a simple puzzle using different shapes to demonstrate how a quantum computer can solve problems quickly. - Talk to your child about a tricky problem they faced and brainstorm creative solutions together, just like Mama did. - Play a game with your child where they have to think of multiple solutions to a problem, encouraging them to think outside the box like quantum computing.
-
Pretend play with your child
GAME: Quantum Quest INSTRUCTIONS: Pretend you and your child are on a quest to solve tricky problems like Mama using your imagination. Each problem represents a challenge, and together, you use your super fast quantum computer (imaginary) to solve them. Switch roles between being the problem solver and the quantum computer for fun teamwork.
