Tips for Parents

Here's how to talk to your child about it
You learned that crabs, like Pablo, have strong claws and can climb trees. They walk sideways and come in different shapes and colors. Pablo has a big family and loves to bring dessert to his cousins.

Some activities you can do with your child now
- Have a discussion with your child about different animals they saw in the video and ask them to describe what they learned about crabs. - Encourage your child to draw a picture of Pablo the crab and the beach scene from the video. - Help your child create a pretend play scenario where they are crabs on the beach, using their imagination to act out what they saw in the video. - Take a walk outside with your child and search for shells or rocks to create a mini beach display, similar to the one in the video.

Pretend play with your child
GAME: Crab Hide and Seek Instructions: Pretend to be Jasmine and hide while your child pretends to be Pablo the crab. Take turns hiding and seeking each other just like in the video. Use creative hiding spots and make it fun by pretending to dig in the sand with "crab claws".
