Here's how to talk to your child about it
You learned about counting and sharing in "Ten in the Bed" nursery rhyme. It's fun to sing and learn numbers with friends.
-
Some activities you can do with your child now
- Act out the song together with your child by pretending to sleep and fall off the bed like the characters in the video. - Count together from one to ten, just like in the video, to reinforce number recognition and sequence. - Encourage your child to retell the story using their own toys or stuffed animals in a similar bedtime setting. - Sing the song again with your child, but this time let them come up with their own creative ending to the rhyme.

Pretend play with your child
Game Name: "Bedtime Countdown" Instructions: Pretend to be the characters in the video, with you as the parent guiding your child to act out each character falling off the bed. Count down from 10 to 1 as each plush toy or puppet representing a character falls off the bed. Encourage your child to use different voices and actions for each character.
