  • Here's how to talk to your child about it

    Stars can be different colors like red, blue, and yellow. The colors tell us how hot the stars are. Red stars are cooler, blue stars are hottest. Yellow stars, like the sun, are in between.

  • Pretend play with your child

    Game Name: Star Seeker Adventure Instructions: 1. Go outside at night with your child and observe the stars. 2. Point out different colored stars and discuss their temperatures based on the colors. 3. Encourage your child to draw pictures of the stars they see and label them with their colors and estimated temperatures.
